National Veterinary Services (NVS) is the market leader in veterinary wholesaling and distribution. Since 1989 we have distributed products to animal health practices and approved outlets across the UK.

Our peopleWe employ more than 500 people in our head office and main warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent; eleven satellite depots - Glasgow, Carlisle, Durham, Doncaster, Brandon, Gloucester, Bridgend, Waltham, Swanscombe, Frimley and Tiverton; and two small hubs in Northern Ireland and Aberdeen.Our distribution networkWe have the widest coverage of the UK, including Northern Ireland, through our own network of delivery drivers, depots and hubs.

We were the first veterinary wholesaler to employ a fully active cold chain and we continue to set the standard for the veterinary industry.

NVS moved to a new, purpose-built and sustainable, office, warehouse and distribution facility in the Summer of 2023, which more than doubled our existing warehouse capacity. This also became the new headquarters for NVS Group.
The facility future-proofs the business, equipping NVS with the technological advances and improved infrastructure needed to facilitate the expansion of the current products and services we offer. The new modern, purpose-built premises will ensure greater efficiencies; further enabling NVS to maintain its position as the leading wholesaler in the veterinary market.
The move to the new facility heralds a significant milestone for NVS. The investment allows us to remain agile in a rapidly changing industry, adapting to market conditions and growth in the sector. The relocation also enables us to fully commit to a sustainability plan
Our new facility provides a great opportunity to put more of our sustainable aspirations into practice.
The building will fulfil our energy efficiency pledge via the incorporation of solar panels and temperature controls. It will score an ‘Excellent’ rating in the BREEAM sustainability assessment method – placing it within the top 10% of new non-domestic buildings in the UK.
The focus also extends to the provision of electric parking spaces for both commercial and non-commercial vehicles, and we’ve worked hard to ensure wellbeing and sustainability are prioritised across the site.
